SCUBA DIVING COURSES
Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)
A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you’ll learn all the steps it takes to be a PADI certified diver.
This introductory program lets you try scuba diving under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. It is a fun experience incorporating an orientation session on the beach and a reef dive. It can count towards the PADI Open Water Diver Course when you choose to complete it. You will learn: key skills, basic scuba equipment use to easily move around underwater. This beginners program takes less that three hours, to sign up for PADI Discover Scuba Diving you must be at least ten tears old, no prior experience is required.
SCUBA DIVING COURSES
Open Water Diver Course
The first certification level in the PADI scuba training program is Open Water Diver. This course lasts approximately three to four days, and focuses on the following:
- Knowledge Development for understanding the basics and safety aspects of scuba diving.
- Confined Water Skills Portion for developing muscle memory for safe in water practices.
- Open Water Dives for ensuring that you have learned and mastered all the skills necessary to be a safe diver.
To enroll on this course you must be a minimum of 10 years old and have adequate swimming and physical abilities. No prior scuba experience is necessary to join this course.
SCUBA DIVING COURSES
Advanced Open Water Diver
This course will further expand your knowledge, experience and skills necessary to feel more confident in the water and will also expand your limitations as a scuba diver. To enroll, you must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or other agency equivalent) and be 12 years or older. This course consists of five Adventure Dives in the following areas:
Required Core Dives:
- Underwater Navigation.
- Deep Diving.
- Peak Performance Buoyancy (strongly recommended but not required by PADI)
Adventure Dive Options:
- Boat Diving.
- Drift Diving.
- Fish Identification.
- Night Diving.
- Peak Performance Buoyancy.
- Search and Recovery.
- Underwater Naturalist.
- Wreck Diving.

SCUBA DIVING COURSES
Rescue Diver
Nothing is more rewarding than knowing that you can handle a stressful situation both bellow and at the surface, becoming a Rescue Diver is what gets you there. This course prepares you to assess real life situations that can happen at any time and guide you through proper ways to handle them thus giving your buddy team a higher sense of security.
Three main parts form this course:
- Knowledge development through PADI books and Instructor guidance.
- Confined Water skills to develop proper performance.
- Open Water Skills where the scenarios discussed are put into practice.
To become a Rescue diver you are required to be an Advanced Open Water Diver as a minimum and have taken the Emergency First Responder Course (EFR).

Emergency First Responder (EFR)
This course focuses on teaching you the skills necessary to safely save the life of a person in need with basic abilities and in a timely manner.
During the duration of this course you will reenact scenarios that could happen in real life and will be thought to ¨Stop, Think and Act¨ according to how the situation is laid out in front of you. One of the biggest benefits of this certification course is that you will now be able to assist a diver once he/she is out of the water until the Emergency Services arrive, providing Oxygen if needed, using an AED, and even providing life supporting CPR as well as treating minor injuries with supplies available to you at the moment.
This course is required to be done before becoming a Rescue Diver as some things in it will correlate with the course´s material.

Dive Master Course
Ever dream of working as a dive professional or being the best diver out of the bunch? If so, this is the course for you! Dive Masters all over the world are happy to say that they work doing what they love the most, being in the water and creating wonderful memories.
This course will further develop your abilities to deal with divers from every experience level and also teach you how to guide dives both professionally or within your friends and family group. This is one of the longest certification courses taking usually 6 weeks to complete but during that time your instructor will mentor you to become a role model for scuba divers. You will learn more about effects of breathing compressed air, decompression sicknesses, situational awareness and safety aspects that are necessary for maintaining group control. Once you become a Dive Master you will also be certified to assist instructors in entry level scuba courses and further prepare yourself for the next step, becoming an Open Water Instructor!
